Sizzling songz in the Philippines

Chris has been visiting a centre for street children in the Philippines with a group from our church. They do a lot of singing, so he took out copies of Sizzling songz. Chris worked with the kids and showed the teachers how to use the book.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall.

Hi, thought you'd like to know we did another Sizzling Song session this am. Teacher Bing (the one wearing glasses) joined in and a few kids. Had a real good giggle - totally tiring though doing crazy actions in this heat (85-80 degrees)- possibly harder work than the 5am aerobics session which Teach Bing joined in with a few other staff and about 15 kids from the Malate Centre for street children.. Session was led in a park by a crazy possessed man that seemed to be closely related to a stick insect and only did movements at one speed...very very fast! By the way, the lady on the right in the picture is Sol who heads the organisation here the other three ladies are all sisters...from left to right Joy, Bing and Jo. They all work with the children here The lad next to me is a brilliant dancer. All lovely people and I will miss them heaps. Chris
